Appletree just wrapped up the 2012 Planning Conference located in Wilmington, Delaware at Hotel Du Pont. A common theme that flowed throughout this year’s event was the value of delivering a first-class experience to our customers, employees and business partners. Not only did this year’s conference exceed a first-class experience for our employees, but it helped us realize how unique and strong our company’s culture truly is.
With 22 offices across the United States and Puerto Rico, our employees have come to rely on several forms of electronic communication (chat, email, chatter, etc.) to stay in touch on a daily basis with team members who are not within close proximity. Like most companies, these tools are necessary and an effective means of communication. However they do not replace the value of face-to-face interaction. The energy and creativity sprung to life at this year’s planning meeting could not have been accomplished with email and chat.
Everyone came back to their office with a common mission and a new energy and purpose. This energy will continue to flow throughout our everyday interactions. And further prove that providing a top-notch experience for employees and customers really does make all the difference.
Without being there to embrace it for yourself, it is hard to write in words the excitement in the air that drifted through this three-day event. However, thanks to our new director of multimedia, we were able to put together a few videos to give you a peek into what went on at this year’s event Take a moment to see some of the highlights of this year’s event.
