Appletree Completes 2007 With 6 Acquisitions

Record Year Includes Strong Bilingual Call Center Acquisition

 

WILMINGTON, DE., December 1, 2007 - For many years Appletree focused on being the family owned and operated Answering Service that grew its business organically.  With a strong reputation in the industry and tremendous focus on the customer and the employee, Appletree quickly became the company to turn to when other family owned business were looking to retire or get out of the business.  In 2007, Appletree kicked off the year in January with an acquisition in Arkansas.  With Arkansas, the company acquired a customer base that was extremely loyal, a staff that was very committed to the same values Appletree held very close and a management team that was stellar at delivering processes and principles. 

Without missing a beat, early in March Appletree embarked on a very exciting acquisition in San Juan, PR.  The San Juan office has brought Appletree, not only a terrific staff, but also opened the door to significant opportunity.  The market in San Juan is growing, the businesses there are thriving and Appletree is happy to add technology and a larger family network to make the San Juan site successful.  An added value that translates to the states is the ability to utilize our San Juan agents for bi-lingual services.  Be on the look-out for big things in San Juan!

June was a very busy month, two family owned businesses decided that the Answering Service was an ever changing business that they felt would be better serviced by an experienced organization like Appletree.  First came the Kansas City, MO acquisition.  Next was the Memphis, TN acquisition.  Both were acquisitions that offered a very customer centric environment that attracted Appletree.  Even though Appletree is an ever growing company, they pride ourselves on staying close to our customers and whenever they can find a company that possesses those same values it is a win/win for both.

With the Fall brought Houma, LA.  Similar to the MO and TN acquisitions, LA was yet another company that held very customer centric values.  This site was so intimate with their customer base, that the customers knew the entire staff and knew exactly who was new to the team.  Appletree was sensitive to that and felt like they could offer value in bringing their management team in to help grow the business, while keeping the staff close to our customer base.  The team is doing great and managing their business exceptionally well.

The last acquisition in 2007 was an office in Sacramento, CA.  Dedicated, tenured employees and management are what make this site so successful.  The Sacramento team was thirsty for the programs, marketing efforts and technology Appletree could bring to their already thriving business.
