Dream On - Charitable Giving Program

In 2008, the "Dream On" program was created by the CEO and founder of Appletree Answers. This program mirrors the Make-A-Wish Charity, but for internal employees. Every employee at Appletree has the opportunity to submit one Dream to the Dream On Committee. There are no limitations or restrictions on what the dreams can be. The Dream On Committee then meets and randomly grants dreams for our employees! Sometimes the dream are for the employees themselves, but many times they are for co-workers, family members, and even complete strangers!

A few examples of the 25 Dreams granted to date.

1. Two employees who were homeless and living in their cars with their families now have new apartments
2. An employee who's spouse has a very serious and potentially terminal illness met an entire NFL football team after attending the game
3. An employee, with a very great need of her own, requested to change her dream to help a total stranger - a mother of a child fighting cancer. The woman was unable to afford time off from work to be with her daughter, so both their dreams were granted with Appletree covering one month of living expenses for the mother.
4. An employee who lost a loved one to a serious illness requested we donate to a charity that works toward finding a cure for the illness.

The benefit of this program beyond trips, sporting events, and other "purchased" items, is the company culture where employees look to do things for each other and literally are "Paying it Forward" every single day. "Employees are Critical" at Appletree and this program has changed the lives of many of our employees and their families.
